Norman Stachniewicz

Norman Stachniewicz, 80, a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Bayonne Medical Center.
He was a retired machinist for the Garden State Container Company of Bayonne.  As a young man he was in the Merchant Marines, he also served his country in the U.S. Army during the Koren War.
He was predeceased by his cherished daughter Janice Ann Stachniewicz.
Norman is the beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Edwards) Stachniewicz.  Loving father of Steven Stachniewicz, Norman Stachniewicz Jr."Butch" and his wife Lisa and Pamela Singer and her husband Chuck.  Dear grandfather of Shawn, Danielle, Kristi, Jillian, Matthew, Ryan, Zachary, Jacob and Alexandria.  Devoted brother of Allan Stachniewicz.  Also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation  will be held on Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  Religious services will be held on Tuesday June, 14, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at the Brigadier General W.C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J.
