Pietro Dellamonica

Pietro Dellamonica, 81, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Select Speciality Hospital, Rochelle Park, N.J.  He was born in Italy and has resided in Jersey City for many years.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy .  Pietro was a retired mason who worked fpr the Material Yards Workers Local #1175 of Astoria, N.Y.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Christine (Barone) Dellamonica and his son Peter and siblings, Josephine, Neil and Agnesa.
He is survived by his children, Vincent, Sal, Neil, Mark, Theresa, Carmine and Santo.  Dear brother of Yolanda.  Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 2;00 to 6:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at  Arlington Cemtery, Kearny, N.J.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
