Ralph J. Lucarello, Sr.

Ralph J. Lucarello Sr., 96, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  He was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident.  He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII.  Ralph was a chemical plant manager for Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical Company where he worked for 40 years.  He was an avid bowler enjoying the game into his 80’s.

Ralph was predeceased by his son Ralph J. Lucarello Jr. and his siblings Edith, Joseph, Sal, Augustine, Michael and Vincent. Beloved husband of Marlene (Nee: Hilinski) Lucarello.  Loving father of Robert Lucarello and his long time partner Carolyn l. Bary, and Carol Mayo and her husband Anthony.  Dear grandfather of Anthony Mayo Jr.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the funeral home.   A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church.  Cremation will be private.
