Richard Lapinski, 82, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest on March 23, 2022. He was employed as an Ironworker with Local 11, and a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He was known by all as a hardworking and loving man who was dedicated to his family and grandchildren.
Husband of the late Eileen (nee Maphet), he is survived by his daughters Catherine and Patricia Lapinski and son Michael Lapinski, Sr.; grandchildren Taylor, Elizabeth, Scott, Michael Jr., Corey, Faith, Julia and Kyle Lapinski, and Madison Padilla.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 28th, from 9am until 10:45am at S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Saint John Paul II Parish, Bayonne. Entombment will follow at Holy Name Mausoleum, Jersey City.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ukraine Relief Fund.
