Rita (Kaminski) Friend

Rita Friend (Nee: Kaminski), 91, a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away at home on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Rita was a color matcher for the Maidenform Company of Bayonne. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance and the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Seniors. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gilbert Friend (BPD) and her brothers Alfred and Matthew Kaminski. Loving mother of Jim Friend, Christine Friend, Mary Mitortando and her husband Vincent and Margaret Conti and her husband Joseph. Dear grandmother of Vincent, Joseph, James and Jeffrey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Viewing on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
