Robert Kacsmar

Robert Kacsmar, 76, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 22, 2018.  He was born in Jersey City and resided in Bayonne for most of his life.  Robert was a heavy machine mechanic for many years, he worked for the Dietrich company of Union and for Bayonne Plumbing Supply and General Plumbing Supply.  He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.
He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Mary (Nee: Goasevski) Kacsmar.
Loving father of Cheryl Kacsmar and Robert Kacsmar and his wife Elizabeth.  Cherished grandfather of Jacqueline Bradley and her husband Jimmy, Ashley Kacsmar, Katelyn Olsen and her fiancé Zachary and Shane Olsen.  Dear brother of Ronald Kacsmar and his late wife Mary.  Also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Viewing on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 26, 2108 at 10:00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City
