Robert J. Lapinski

Robert J. Lapinski, 74, a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  Robert served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a maintenance worker for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for many years before retiring.
He was predeceased by his parents Casimir and Claire Lapinski.
Beloved husband of Darleen (Martin) Lapinski.  Loving father of Jeffrey Lapinski and his wife Kristin and Lauren Lapinski.  Dear grandfather of Brady, Arielle and Valentina Lapinski.  Cherished brother of Diane Frankfurt and her husband Chris.  Also survived by his sister-in-law Janet Patten and her husband Gerard and his brother-in-law George R.R. Martin and his wife Parris and nephews Sean and Dean Patten.
Visitation will be on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Burial will be on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the Brig. General W.C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, N.J.
