Roman A. Popowski

Roman A. Popowski Sr., passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 at his home in Bayonne.  He was born in Manchester England and at the age of two came to the United States with his  parents on the Queen Mary.  He has resided in Bayonne for most of his life.
Roman was a retired warehouse manager for the Bayonne Plumbing Supply Company where he worked for 30 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Otylia Popowski.
Loving father of Frank, Billy and Roman Popowski Jr. and his wfe Corinne.  Cherished grandfather of Brenna, Roman III, Ryan, Casey Jaye, Ashley and Jared.  Dear brother of Michael Popowski and John Popowski and his partner Jim.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Committal services and cremation will follow at Rosehill Crematory, Linden.
