Ronald " Rocky " Richardson

Ronald "Rocky" Richardson, 78, a lifelong resident of Jersey City passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Jersey City Medical Center. He was a longshoreman for over 50 years and a proud member of the International Longshoremen's Association Local #1588, Rocky was a machine boss at the Global Terminals in Bayonne. He was a member of the Jersey City Moose Lodge 266. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Jean (Nee: Gajewski) Richardson and his siblings, Monica, Charles and Stephen. Beloved husband of Gloria (Nee: LaRaia) Richardson. Loving father of Jason Richardson and his wife Keely and Vanessa Zamarra and her husband Alfonso. Dear grandfather of Anna & Jude Richardson and Alfonso, Amelia & Angelina Zamarra. Cherished brother of Dennis Richardson and his wife Lynn, Gregory Richardson and his wife Frances and Carol Scrudato and her husband John. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Jersey City. There will be no Visitation at the funeral home on Monday morning please go directly to Holy Rosary Church. Interment will fiollow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
