Stanley Wrona Obituary

Bayonne Softball Hall of Famer Stanley “Stosh” Wrona, 95, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall, PA.  He was born in Bayonne to the late John and Victoria (Nee: Pasko) Wrona.
He resided in Bayonne for many years before moving to Hudson, Florida after retiring and later in his life to Pennsylvania.  Stanley was a truck driver for the Anheuser Busch Corporation in Newark for over 30 years.     .
Stanley was predeceased by the love of his life Tina (Nee: Buonaiuto) Wrona. when When she died a part of him died too.  As tortuous as it was living without her, he sought self-help, bereavement, and dedicated his life to helping other widows and widowers, whether it be taking them shopping, out to dinner, or just simple conversation.  Stanley enjoyed watching sports and the news.   He loved the arts and music but most of all he loved his family.
Loving father of Doreen Wrona-Petrowski and her husband Mark, Pamela Tagliareni and her husband James and William Wrona and his wife  Fran.  Dear grandfather of Jenna and her husband Dan, Toni and her husband Joseph, Pamela and her husband Ian, Joseph and Santina.  Cherished great-grandfather of Sadie, Amelia, John James, Luciana and Vincent Michael.  Devoted brother to the late Stella Graczyk, Joseph Wrona and Catherine Chimento.
Funeral services for Stanley will be private.  He will be interred with his beloved wife Tina at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
