Stephen E. Lewandowski

Stephen E. Lewandowski, 79, a lifelong resident of Bayonne passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Bayonne Medical Center. Stephen served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked at Jean's Tavern his family's business for many years and later for the Defeo Auto Group of Jersey City for 20 years as a certified sales consultant. He was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Jean (Nee: Krzeminski) Lewandowski and his daughter Jeanne Johnson. Stephen is survived by his beloved daughter Laure Lewandowski and his cherished granddaughter Julianna Jean Lewandowski. He is also survived by his grandson Joseph Johnson. Relatives and frineds are invited to attend the Viewing on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday September 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne. Cremation will be private.
