Steven J. Magelnicki

Steven J. Magelnicki, 74, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Reading Hospital.  He was born in Bayonne to the late John and Mary Ann Magelnicki, Steven resided in Reading PA.  Steven was a Rhodes scholar he attended the New School for Research at Columbia University and NYU where he later taught a film editing class.  He worked for ABC NY doing film editing and later opened his own film editing company.  During this time he was friends with Andy Warhol and Mick Jagger. 
He volunteered his time to the Democratic party in Bayonne and the HCDO.  He provided countless photos to his cousins newspaper the Bayonne Community News and the Jersey Journal.  He helped have Bayonne Park renamed after his cousin Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Lt. Stephen Gregg.  His most current best friend was his dog Stanley.
Beloved husband of Angelina (Nee: Acciari) Magelnicki.  Loving father of Barbara Michalski, Daniel Magelnicki and Lauren Magelnicki.  Dear grandfather of Isabella and Alexander Magelnicki.
Visitation on Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral hone.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.  In lieu of flowers make donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 800-805-5856.
