Tadeusz Ted Ozlanski

Tadeusz "Ted" Ozlanski, Retired  Bayonne Fire Department Captain,  passed away on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Mount Carmel, Pa. and he  was a longtime  resident of Bayonne
Ted served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, where he was stationed in Alaska.  He was a fireman in Bayonne serving from 1962 to 1989.  He was the past Commander of the Polish-American Veterans and a member of the F.A. Mackenzie Post #165 of Bayonne.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Claire (Nee: Wonilowicz) Ozlanski, his brother Henry and his sister Laura Kostovich.
Loving father of Carol Petty and her husband Brian,  Janice Scott and her husband William.  Dear grandfather of Allison, Joseph, Kelley, Kevin, Molly, Jacqueline and Brian Jr.  Cherished brother of Jane Barton.  Also survived by Benson his canine friend to the end.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, April 16, 2012 at St. Henry's R.C. Church, at 9:30 a.m.. Bayonne.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
