Theresa Terri (Teijeiro) Borkowski

Theresa “Terri” Borkowski (Nee: Teijeiro), 74, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Bayonne Medical Center. She was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of Bayonne. Terri was a retired import-export manager for the Nippon Corporation of Secaucus. She was very active with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and was past vice president of the Eastern District. Terri was the past Exalted Ruler of BPOE Lodge #434 of Bayonne and she sat on many boards including scholarship chairwoman. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society of Bayonne. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edmund Borkowski and her dear granddaughter Brianna. Loving mother of Theresa Ann Negron, Victoria Elizabeth Granite, Edmund Matthew, Valerie, Ruth and Ivan Borkowski. Cherished grandmother of Veronica Marie, Ralph, Alexandria, Vyla and Gavin and great-grandmother of Novalee. Devoted sister of Chris Borkowski. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, January 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from the Parish of St. John Paul II at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.
