Walter J Shostak

Walter J. Shostak , 81, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, at Glen Falls Hospital, Glen Falls NY. He was born in New York City and moved to Bayonne as a young child.
    He was a Retired Mechanical Engineer for the Postal Service. He graduated from Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy and served in the U.S. Navy
     He was the dear son of the late John and Mary [ nee Popiolek ]
    He was the beloved husband of Martha [nee Maciorowski ]. He was the devoted father of Walter G., of Staten Island, Mark J. of Bayonne and Catherine Kissane and her husband Kevin of New York City.
    Loving grandfather of Sarah, Matthew And David Shostak and Mary Kissane.
    Dear brother of Adam of Hebron NY, Eleanor Shostak of Florida and the late Alexander
    He was a member of the Inventors club. Young at heart club and th Concerned Citizens of Bayonne.
    The funeral Mass will take place on Friday August 13, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Marys Star of the Sea Church.
    Visitation will be on Thursday August 12, 2010 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. 9 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski Funeral Home in Bayonne. Cremation private .
