Wanda (Donderowicz) Skopiak

Wanda Skopiak (Nee: Donderowicz), 90, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  She was born in Adamowa, Poland.  She was forced to Germany during WWII with her daughter, Lucia and remained there until they were free to leave.  They moved to Santiago, Chile where they resided for 15 years until they immigrated to Bayonne in 1965.  She was retired from Norton & Son of Bayonne where she worked for 15 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter Skopiak and her parents Helena and Marceli Donderowicz.

Loving mother of Lucia DePrisco and her husband Nicholas.  Dear grandmother of Susan DePrisco-Little and Nikki DePrisco.  Cherished great-grandmother of Mackenzie Little.  Devoted sister of Jadwiga Chojnacka and the late Urszula Gorecka.  Also survived by her beloved nieces Urszula, Wanda, Alicja and a nephew Wojciech and grand niece Nell.  Also leaving behind family members Cecylia Suchomska and Paul Vallejo who was loved as a grandson.

Visitation on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. from the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
