William Petsch Jr.

William Petsch Jr., 57, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at the Bayonne Medical Center.  He was born in Jersey City and was a resident of Bayonne.  William was graduate of Marist High School and was a member of the football team.  He worked for ShopRite for almost 40 years and was the store manager at the Metro Plaza ShopRite in Jersey City.
William was predeceased by his loving mother Jeanette (Nee: Ledestick) Petsch.
Beloved husband of Patricia (Nee: Materowski) Petsch.  Dear father of William III, Alexis and Courtney Petsch and Ashley and Tommy Paradine.  Cherished son of William Petsch Sr.  Devoted brother of Christine Williams and her husband John.  Uncle of Joseph, Tabitha, T.J., Declan, Joshua, Shelby and Ricky.  Also survived by his brother-in-laws Joseph Materowski, Charles and Kerry Materowski and Michael and Melissa Materowski.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass Friday at 11:30 A.M. from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
