William Petsch Sr.

William Petsch Sr., a longtime resident of Bayonne, passed away at home on Saturday, February 17, 2024.  He was born in Secaucus to the late Harold and Helen Petsch.  William was a meat manager for the Bayonne Shop Rite for many years and later for Pathmark in Newark.  

William was predeceased by his beloved wife Jeanette ( Ledestick) Petsch, his son William Petsch Jr. and his siblings Harold Petsch, Barbara Simins and Emmy Swift.
Loving father of Christine Williams and her husband, John.  Dear grandfather of William III, Alexis and Courtney Petsch, Joshua and Shelby Williams, Ashley Elliot, Tommy and Ashley Paradine.  Cherished brother of Helen Gibney, Ada Donavan and her husband Joseph and Michael Petsch.  He was also survived by his daughter-in-law Patricia Petsch.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst.
