Wladyslawa Ojdana (nee Faligowska), 83, of Bayonne, passed away on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at Delaire Nursing & Convalescent Centeri in Linden, N.J.  
She was born in Strzelno, Poland.  In 1941, during WWII, she and other girls and boys were rounded up and sent to Germany to work at forced labor.  She met her husband and had three children after the war.  She never returned to Poland.  She lived in Australia for ten years before moving to Bayonne in 1958.  She was a devoted homemaker and later worked for the Visiting Homemaker Service of Hudson County.
Wladyslawa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Piotr Ojdana; her parents Wojciech and Franciszka; her brothers Frank and Wladek and her sisters Helena and Kasia.
She is survived by her sons George and Edward of Bayonne and Michael of Novato California; by her grandaughter Alison and her husband Tony Mayo and her great-grandson Liam D. Mayo; and by her daughter-in-law Karen Shovlin Ojdana
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Bayonne.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
