Yolanda Schreieck

Yolanda Schreieck (Nee: Cicconetti), 86, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Harbor View Health Care in Jersey City. Yolanda was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Bayonne in 1962 to be close to a large extended family. She first went to work for Aqua Net Hair Spray in Jersey City, supporting her two daughters, Roseann and Theresa. Later she worked as a contractor at the Military Ocean Terminal in Bayonne, a job she dearly loved and where she made many lifelong friends. Yolanda was known for her wicked sense of humor. She loved to laugh and sing, often regaling her beloved family with a fabulous rendition of " God Bless America". Yolanda will be remembered and missed by many. She was predeceased by her siblings; Thomas and Victor Cicconetti, Sue Tortsvet, Gloria Squitieri and Rosalie Cicconetti. Loving mother of Roseann Hiebert and Theresa Palmieri. Dear grandmother of Sara Huston, Justin and Ariel Palmieri. Cherished great-grandmother of Logan, Anabeth and Kimberly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation is on Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the S. Fryczynski & Son Funeral Home, Bayonne. Funeral mass will be Friday, May15, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Henry R.C. Church, Bayonne. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Queens N.Y.
